Become a Superstar! Audition for Lead Actors! 

We are on the hunt for extraordinary performers aged 10-16 to bring charisma, talent, and energy to the vibrant characters in our summer musical Aladdin's Magical Adventure! Step into the spotlight as you join clever street rat Aladdin, unleash a hilariously charismatic Genie, and soar alongside Princess Jasmine in her quest for identity and freedom. Together, they’ll face off against the cunning Jafar in a thrilling adventure filled with romance, laughter, and unforgettable moments! 

This dynamic British panto-style production features breathtaking scenery, dazzling costumes, and magical lights, showcasing the best talent from Creative Collab’s musical theatre students, dedicated teachers, and special guest professional actors. With upbeat musical numbers, current chart-toppers, and interactive audience participation, Aladdin's Magical Adventure promises an exhilarating night of magic, mayhem, and heart! 

Don’t miss your chance to shine on stage—become the superstar we’re looking for! 

Be Ready to: 

1. Sing a song of your choice that showcases your vocal range, musicality, and storytelling skills. The song should be a maximum of 1 minute. 

2. Recite a monologue from memory from one of the given characters below. 

3. Learn and perform a simple choreography 

Audition Information 

Date: 14 March, Saturday 

Time: 6:00 - 7:00pm 

Venue: Momentum Steps, Unit 1412, 14/F, Tower 1, Silvercord, 30 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. 

Upon acceptance into our cast, it is required to enrol in our Musical Theatre Masterclass for the April-June term and a payment of $1,980 production fee to participate.

Aladdin 

• (In a moment of reflection) You know, people always think life is about riches and power. But here I am, a street rat with nothing but my wits, and I couldn’t ask for more! Every day is an adventure, whether I’m dodging guards or dreaming of a life beyond these alleys. But what if… what if there’s more out there? More than just scraps and shadows? What if I could be a hero, not just a thief? Maybe there’s magic waiting for me, and I’m ready to find it! 

Princess Jasmine 

• (Determined and passionate) I’ve spent my whole life behind palace walls, where every decision is made for me—every step dictated by tradition. I’m not just a princess; I’m a person with dreams and desires! I want to explore the world, to understand its beauty and its struggles. I want the freedom to choose my own path! I refuse to be just a prize to be won. I will stand up for myself and find my true identity, no matter the cost! 

Genie 

• (Bursting with energy and humour) Well, look who it is! The charming, yet somewhat clueless, street rat! You’re either about to become the luckiest guy in the world or the biggest joke since last Tuesday! But hey, that’s what I’m here for—your very own magical life coach! With three wishes up for grabs, let’s make those dreams come true! Just remember, no wishing for more wishes—it’s my pet peeve! Now, what’s it going to be, my friend? Let’s sprinkle some magic into that mundane life of yours! 

Jafar 

• (Sly and menacing) Ah, the fools of Agrabah, blissfully unaware of the power I possess! They see me as just a royal advisor, but they don’t realize that I’m the puppet master pulling the strings. All I seek is the lamp—the key to ultimate power! With it, I will control this kingdom and crush anyone who dares to stand in my way. Aladdin? Jasmine? They’re nothing but pawns in my game. And soon, they will learn that I am not to be trifled with!
